A Walk of difference

Hands that become heavy to hold.
Shoulders that become stranger to lean on.
Bodies that become cold to embrace.
Feet that become weak to move close.

Eyes that can't attract.
Lips that can't attach.
Ears that do not listen.
Hearts that become distant.

We walk along the road of shimmering lights.
We walk on the road of life.
Yet, each footstep is a walk of no meaning,
as you were looking to the left and I was looking to the right.
